The Apalachicola School of Art

is based out of the Center for History, Culture and Art, housed in a wonderfully restored 1830's warehouse which looks over the beautiful Apalachicola River and Estuary.

The Center is in the middle of the commercial district with hotels, bed & breakfasts, shops and excellent dining within steps. The 5000 square foot facility features a first floor exhibit gallery and a beautiful second story studio and lecture hall. Many of the Schools Workshops and programs are offered in the surrounding community, taking full advantage of the incredible scenery, natural resources and maritime culture.

Artists from across the world come to Apalachicola to paint and to create. The natural light and authenticity of the area is like no other place. And if you love fresh seafood, it is heaven. The oysters are considered some of the best in the world. The School is located at 86 Water Street in Historic Downtown Apalachicola.
